Standards-Based Interoperability of Asset Management Information Systems

Since the start of CIEAM, researchers have successfully performed a range of research topics through various projects spread across the different areas of Engineering Asset Management (EAM). While these projects have focussed on the differing needs of industry partners, it is now clear that the re-integration of these results into a unified delivery platform will result in substantial benefits to current and future participants based on the core CIEAM principle of integration.

The task in this project is to investigate highly complex integration scenarios of information systems in the Asset Management sector. One goal is to develop model-driven techniques and tools to simplify data exchange of enterprise critical systems. This project is part of the Program Systems Integration & IT within the CRC for Infrastructure and Engineering Asset Management (CIEAM). Research is performed in a close relationship with Australian industry partners that benefit directly from the outcomes.
